Our blog is an experimental collaboration between three friends, who want to have fun with their everyday work wardrobe.
With full time jobs in the corporate world, getting dressed for work can be quite challenging if not boring. The perpetual thoughts of "I don't have anything to wear" and "I don't have time to think" often crosses our mind as we browse our closets every morning. We wanted to turn this around and challenge ourselves by reinventing the clothes we have, mixing-matching, and drawing ideas and inspirations from each other. The only rules for our choice of outfits are: they should be appropriate for a work setting, smart and minimalistic.
After going through this experiment for a couple of months, we realized this has changed the whole "getting dressed for work" experience. We have not only benefited from inspiring each others' work outfits, but also have become more aware of the patterns in our own styles, in places we shop, in things we have enough of and things we need to buy.
We would love to hear from you! Send us your feedback/comments/brickbats to workspire@gmail.com
